Current or Future Issues

People on Labor Strike
In March of 2012, there was a strike over rules that make it cheaper for employers to hire and fire workers. Environmental issues include air pollution, acid rain, overfishing, deforestation and water born diseases. The industrial revolution lead to air pollution, the fishing industry caused overfishing and lumber for homes has lead to deforestation.

Economic Activities

Spain has a Mixed Capitalist economy. Agriculture makes up for 3.3% of Spain's economy, industry at 25.8 and services at 70.9%. Most of the economy being services, it's easy to see how this country is developed.

Spain is an example of a parlamentary monarchy. One of their national holidays is when Columbus set foot in America and their voting age is 18. A stable infrastructure underlying the government contributes to the level of development of this country. Organized and stable government allow these patterns to exist.

Demographics

There are a lot of people around the coast along with the capital, Madrid, which is in the center of the country. The official language of Spain is Castillion Spanish and they have a life expectancy of 81. The overall population greatness and high life expectancy shows an established infrastructure with quality medical availability and is why Spain is a developed country.

Culture

 Spain is rich with beautiful Spanish culture. Spanish is the official language, but it is not the same as its spoken in Mexico.The predominant faith of Spain is Roman Catholic and the people are a wide variety of french and Spanish origins.

The country of Spain id located on a peninsulala in western Europe. It consists of 18 city states. Portugal is located east on the same peninsula and has a river as a border. the capitial of Spain is madrid, and is located in the center of spain. Its location was chosen, by the ruler of that time so he could over look trading be done.

Human Environment Interactions

The fishing industry is huge in Spain, and can be found anywhere along the coast and creates lots of jobs. Although there is very few manufacturing plants, they cause huge amounts of air pollutants. And due to more recent industrialization's touristry has been booming.

Natural reasources

In the country of Spain the most predominately found natural resource is Hydroelectricity found on the one river located on the Tagus river which also serves as the border between Spain and Portugal. Copper and lead can be found in a few places but theres not much. Due to the massive Forrests in Spain forestry and logging is also popular.

Ecosystems

The ecosystems in spain range from centeries old forests to chaparral temperate grasslands. Spains ecosystems are greatly influenced by human forces many forests have been cut down and cleared for farming, towns ect.

Long ago when Pangaea split up, the region  now know as Spain was once located next to Greenland.Spain today is located on the Iberian Peninsula, surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The Pyrenees separate Spain from France and the rest of Europe.
